Over the past five summers, Comeback Hockey has conducted an internal study tracking the development of every athlete who has participated in our Elite Summer Program. Throughout this five-year period, we measured multiple areas of player performance including speed, quickness, agility, hockey IQ, shooting ability, and many other key components of the game.
The results were astonishing.
On average, players who completed the program improved their performance metrics by at least 15% across multiple areas of the game. These gains were not limited to just one skill — improvements were consistently seen in skating speed, reaction time, agility, puck skills, decision making, and shooting accuracy.
These results reinforce what we’ve always believed: when players train with the right structure, intensity, and recovery balance, development accelerates. The Comeback Hockey Elite Summer Program isn’t just about working hard — it’s about training the right way, and the numbers from the past five years prove it.
